Please ensure you read our terms and conditions so both parties understand how our working relationship will proceed.
1 – Our quotations are valid for 28 days, any quotations accepted after this date will need to be amended to ensure materials purchased through merchants haven’t fluctuated.
2 – All works above the total value of £1000 will require a 50% deposit to be paid and cleared into JRS Plumbing and Heating’s bank account 48 hours prior to the agreed start date. Staged payments can’t be arranged and agreed prior to works starting.
3 – The deposit for works will be refunded if the client cancels 48 hours prior to the start date.
4 – Payment is due on completion of works, as stated on our invoices. Payment which is not received within 28 days of us issuing the invoice will result in interest charges being added and an administration charge of £15.
5 – Any issues which may arise within 12 months of works being completed, caused by poor workmanship will be rectified free of charge. If JRS are found not to be at fault, or the fault is down to manufacturing a standard call out charge will be charged at our normal rate of £65.
6 – Any work carried out outside of our normal working hours will be chargeable at an additional rate.
7- Any damage which occurs in your property will need to be brought to our engineers attention immediately. Damage caused by JRS will be dealt with promptly and efficiently. However, if access needs to be made to complete the work, we will move items with your permission but by allowing us to do this we are not liable for damage which may occur.
7a – You must inform us of any potential hazards which you may be aware of that could cause our engineers harm.
8- We try our best to meet deadlines and ensure our customers budget is met. However, sometimes unforeseen circumstances occur, which we can not be held liable for.
9- By agreeing for us to carry out work at your property, you also give us consent to pass your details on to our chosen debt recovery agency should payment issues arise.
